擅長寫情歌的新加坡創作歌手邱鋒澤首次挑戰「男男」原創歌曲〈斷訊〉，特別找來SpeXial偉晉跨刀合作，兩人分別詞、曲創作；邱鋒澤、偉晉二人因戲結緣，二個月日夜相處拍戲，拍出兄弟情，拍戲結束後，邱鋒澤特別邀約偉晉一起創作合唱曲，兩人對於作品都表示超級滿意。
邱鋒澤也首度挑戰擔任製作人，二人獨唱部分進度完全超前，到了合唱部分則是一大挑戰，主要是因為他與偉晉都不太熟悉合音的訣竅，邱鋒澤提到：「偉晉很會唱，稍微說一下他就能理解我高級旅館想要的，但我是第一次製作合唱曲，二人合唱一定要和諧，花了比較多時間在溝通這個，之前跟偉晉拍戲已經培養一定的默契，才能讓這首單曲這麼順利。」
對於這一次音樂上的合作，偉晉表示：「一剛開始覺得邱鋒澤是一個說話輕聲細語的人，慢慢熟悉後，才知道他是一個冷笑話王，而且非常的有才華。」而身兼製作人的邱鋒澤則說：「拍戲最大的收穫就是認識結交到許多台灣的朋友，像偉晉是一個很熱情大方的人，其實一開始我也沒把握，沒想到他一口答應，真的很謝謝他。」
第52屆金鐘獎於9月30日晚間7點，在國父紀念館登場，綜藝節目、益智及實境節目與兩主持人四大獎項花落誰家尤其令人矚目。獎項出爐，幾家歡樂幾家愁，評審受訪時，坦言兩大主持人獎，「老將帶新秀」的模式才是王道。
綜藝、益智及實境節目與兩主持人四大項召集人賴勛彪表示，「老將帶新秀，然後表現很傑出，搭配很多屆，我們很肯定就是他們。這些老將很願意帶新人，他不怕這些新人搶他的鋒頭，並盡量讓他們有機會表現，而且，看得出這個帶的過程，我們很肯定這個，因為台灣這幾年市場有變化，加上網路這些，所以製作的量比以前少，因此新人表現的機會比以前更少，那老將帶新人這件事是很值得鼓勵的。」

賴勛彪提及綜藝的遠景，「因為我們終究希望越多新秀跑出來，更新的主持方式，帶給觀眾更好的表演。愷樂跟KID本身是很好的，加上小豬本身很有影響力，吳宗憲也是，他們完全就是老將帶新秀。」提到遺珠之憾胡瓜，他不禁感嘆，「那胡瓜就是自己表現得很好，在《綜藝大集合》裡面，唉呀，那是了不起的表現。沒辦法那就是......如果要給兩個獎，胡瓜就拿到了。」
